Looking for help with Fuji raw files ( X Pro 2/XT2 ) AP will edit the files perfectly well but I cannot see the file I might wish to work on when opening a new file, ie Windows 10 viewer will only display the file icon, not the the actual image. As many of my readers shoot with Fuji cameras, and many of you have expressed an interest in using Luminar 2018 for processing Fuji files, I wanted to give an overview of what I think is the best way to work with Fuji files currently. This is just an overview, and doesn’t go into a huge amount of detail.

I can't open the RAW files from the Fujifilm X-T2. I get a file with a bottom black half and a white upper half. I can not open it. I am forced to shoot JPG only now. Is there a sollution for this problem? With best regalrds. Only Camera Raw 9.6 and above can read X-T2 Raw files. This link Camera Raw plug-in and Adobe application compatibility says that PSE14 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 9.5.. I suspect you need Elements 15 to open those Raw files in Elements. If you don't upgrade to PSE15, your best option may be to download the free Adobe DNG converter, batch convert all XT-2 Raw files to DNG The XT2 and more recent Fuji cameras will need a more recent Adobe software to open the RAW files. Lightroom for instance (which is Adobe software and uses ACR) needs to be V6 to open an XT2 file, v5.7 is too "old". Photoshop CS6 (also uses ACR) is also too old and needs updating to see/open the latest Fuji RAW files. How Useful are the Fujifilm X-T2’s High ISO Settings in Real-World Shooting?
